Join Oundle Veterinary Surgery as a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon in this full-time permanent role based in Peterborough. You'll work across a dynamic practice group of 14.5 FTE vets, many with specialist credentials including an exotic specialist and certificate holders. This is a collaborative environment where clinical meetings are held regularly to share knowledge, and investment in new equipment supports best practice throughout the team.
The schedule is structured and predictable: four days weekly 8am to 7pm with one day off each week, plus Saturday mornings on a 1 in 6 rota and one longer Saturday shift per month (1 in 6). One late shift per week (9:30am to 7:30pm) is part of the pattern. Importantly, there is no out-of-hours work involved in this role, making it ideal if you value your evenings and weekends. TOIL is offered for Saturday work.
You'll be based at Oundle or Peterborough, both ideally positioned to serve their local communities. The practice group has two surgeries and welcomes work experience students and veterinary students, reflecting their commitment to developing the profession.
