1:5 on-call rota with protected time off after nights, half-day weekly, Monday off after weekend on-call
This is a rare opportunity to step into a Clinical Director position where you'll combine hands-on equine and farm animal practice with meaningful strategic leadership. You'll guide a dedicated team of 4 to 5 vets while retaining the freedom to shape the service according to your vision. Part of VetPartners but with genuine autonomy, you'll work alongside three Small Animal Clinical Directors and the Practice Manager, collaborating on wider practice direction without losing independence in your specialism.
The role operates a manageable 1:5 on-call rota with protected time off after nights, a guaranteed half-day weekly, and Monday off after weekend cover. This is a full-time permanent position based across Parkside's multi-branch sites serving Dundee, Tayside, Angus and Fife.
Parkside Veterinary Group is a well-established multi-branch mixed practice serving Dundee, Tayside, Angus and Fife. The practice combines clinical excellence with a strong team ethos, and many vets, nurses and office staff have been part of the team for over a decade. As part of VetPartners, Parkside has access to excellent resources, leadership development and organisational support while retaining operational independence.
Facilities include equine stables and stocks at two sites, in-house laboratory, mobile digital radiography, equine ultrasound, respiratory scope, and access to visiting specialists for advanced procedures. The region offers vibrant city life, beautiful beaches, rugged glens, mountain sports and historic towns, with easy access to Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
