Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care across a wide range of medical and surgical small animal cases
• Make sound, evidence-based clinical decisions with confidence and autonomy
• Discuss realistic treatment options with clients, balancing best practice with individual circumstances
• Work collaboratively with the veterinary and nursing team, contributing to case discussions and shared learning
• Uphold PDSA’s high standards of care and support the charity’s mission in every consultation
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow practice protocols

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon (RCVS registered)
• Clinical confidence in small animal medicine and surgery
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to clinical decision-making
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a busy, varied caseload
