About the Role
Join PDSA's Data & Analytics team as a Planning Coordinator, supporting the delivery of projects that help the charity expand its vital veterinary services to more pets and their owners in financial hardship. This hybrid role is based in Telford, offering flexibility to balance office and remote working as you coordinate planning and ensure smooth project delivery across the team.
You'll work alongside colleagues in Data & Analytics and across the wider organisation, acting as a central point of contact for stakeholders. Your role combines project coordination, stakeholder communication, and workload management, ensuring priorities are clear, timelines are met, and teams have the structure they need to deliver quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming requests for the Data & Analytics team, capturing and documenting requirements clearly
- Support project planning by defining objectives, timelines, dependencies, and key milestones alongside colleagues
- Maintain project plans, work schedules, and tracking tools with accurate, up-to-date information
- Serve as a key contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, timelines, and potential risks
- Produce and maintain clear project documentation including requirements, business processes, and delivery plans
- Coordinate meetings, planning sessions, and project reviews, recording actions and following up on agreed tasks
- Monitor team workloads to identify scheduling conflicts or resource pressures, escalating issues appropriately
- Provide regular reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics to support informed decision-making
Requirements
- Proven experience coordinating multiple projects or workstreams
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret information to support decision-making
- Confident communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience working within a data, reporting, or analytics environment
- Experience with data and analytics tools or platforms is beneficial but not essential
- Exposure to standard project management skills is beneficial but not essential
