About the Role
This Registered Veterinary Nurse position at PDSA Glasgow Shamrock Street offers a wide mix of clinical work, from nurse consultations and inpatient care to dispensing medication and assisting in theatre, including Schedule 3 surgery. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care across the hospital, including nurse consultations, inpatient care and theatre support.
- Assist with Schedule 3 surgery.
- Dispense medications as part of day to day clinical work.
- Support and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
- Help keep pets calm and owners informed.
- Share skills, support others and lead by example in a busy, purpose led setting.
- Look for improvements and efficiencies in how resources are used.
Requirements
- Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Confidence communicating with a wide range of colleagues and clients.
- Comfort working in a busy hospital environment with a varied caseload.

- Salary of £27,455 to £31,958.
- Part time fixed term contract for 18 months.
