A 12-month fixed-term RVN role at PDSA Hendon offers a varied hospital caseload, collaborative working and the chance to make a direct difference for pets and owners facing hardship.
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join PDSA Hendon. The role is set in a busy, purpose-led hospital where no two days are quite the same, so you’ll need to be confident adapting to a wide variety of cases.
You’ll play an active part across the hospital, supporting nurse consultations, inpatient care, medication dispensing and theatre work, including Schedule 3 surgery. The role also calls for strong communication with colleagues and clients, plus a willingness to support others, lead by example and help keep pets calm and owners informed.
PDSA Hendon is described as a highly collaborative hospital with shared learning, team discussion and varied clinical interests. The wider Pet Hospitals are modern and well equipped, with separate dog and cat kennelling, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
PDSA provides veterinary care for pets whose owners are in financial hardship and has done so for over a century. The organisation is expanding its reach so it can support more people and pets.
PDSA Hendon is part of that wider network and is described as a collaborative, effective hospital with varied clinical interests and a strong focus on teamwork, case discussion and shared learning.
