You’ll be joining PDSA Thamesmead as a Veterinary Care Assistant, supporting a team focused on providing veterinary care for pets whose owners are in financial hardship. The role is centred on day-to-day hospital support, with a strong emphasis on customer service, clinical care and pet wellbeing.
Your work will include animal handling, reception cover when needed, helping to keep the environment clean, safe and hygienic, and supporting Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Surgeons. You’ll also speak with clients about appropriate financial contributions with empathy and professionalism. Depending on the needs of the hospital, the role can be full-time or part-time.
