About the Role

Join PDSA Aston as a qualified Veterinary Surgeon and work part time, 22.5 hours per week, in a role that brings variety every day. You will be handling a wide mix of medical and surgical cases, with the chance to make a meaningful difference to pets and owners who need support most.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of medical and surgical cases at PDSA Aston.
• Make evidence based clinical decisions and create practical treatment plans.
• Discuss realistic treatment options with owners, balancing best practice with each situation.
• Communicate clearly with clients and work positively with colleagues across the hospital.
• Contribute to case discussion, shared learning and continuous improvement within the service.
• Support PDSA's mission by helping champion client contributions and pet welfare.

Requirements

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon.
• Adaptability and resilience to manage a diverse caseload.
• Clinical confidence to make sound, evidence based decisions.
• Strong communication skills.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others.

• Salary of £45,269 to £60,062, including allowances.
