This is a leadership position for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse ready to step into team management. You'll combine advanced clinical work in anaesthesia and theatre nursing with hands-on team leadership across a busy small animal practice. The role sits comfortably within a 40-hour week, with a manageable 1:6 Saturday morning rota and 1:12 weekend on-call pattern, plus some bank holiday cover.
Based at Pennard Vets' modern, purpose-built hospital in Kent, you'll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. Your days will blend clinical delivery (advanced surgical procedures, peri-operative care, ventilators and CRI management) with mentoring junior nurses and PCAs, contributing to SOPs, quality improvement initiatives, and collaborative case management. You'll help maintain high clinical standards while fostering a positive team culture.
