Vermuyden Vets is a small animal practice in Goole that has recently undergone significant expansion and refurbishment. You'll work across routine and emergency small animal healthcare in a supportive environment with cutting-edge facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory. This is a full-time position working 40 hours across 4 or 5 days per week, with just one Saturday morning per month and time off in lieu. Crucially, there are no out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain genuine work-life balance.
The close-knit clinical team currently includes an experienced part-time veterinary surgeon, supported by animal care assistants and client care colleagues. You'll also benefit from a partnership with Portland House Veterinary Group in Retford, giving you access to additional facilities, experienced colleagues, and a wider clinical network to support your ongoing development. The practice prioritises colleague wellbeing, with a dedicated Mental Health First Aider in the team and regular social events including pub quizzes, summer BBQs, and charity challenges.
