This Birmingham clinic is looking for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to step into a Clinical Lead position. The role is surgery focused rather than consult led, with a strong emphasis on independent clinical decision making and managing a busy surgical caseload.
You'll be working in a setting that supports a wider animal welfare charity, with profits reinvested back into the charity. The caseload is around 70% charity and 30% private clients, and the role includes neutering, assessments of dogs for rehoming, and some emotionally demanding cases such as euthanasia.
As Clinical Lead, you'll also help maintain standards of patient care and support the clinic's ongoing development. Experience in a rescue or charity environment would be beneficial, but a genuine commitment to animal welfare is essential.
