This Veterinary Surgeon role is based across two established small animal practices in South Wales, offering a varied caseload of first opinion consultations and routine surgery. The position is designed around a healthier work-life balance, with 36 hours over 4 days for full-time staff, shifts between 8:30am and 7pm Monday to Friday, and no out-of-hours work.
Part-time hours are also available, with flexible hours and shorter working days offered where possible. You'll be joining an experienced and supportive team, including vets with certificates in orthopaedics, ophthalmology and medicine, plus several highly experienced colleagues and Registered Veterinary Nurses.
The role sits within an established practice group with over 40 years of history and a loyal client base. The practices are ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Clinics, RCVS PSS GP practices and nurse training centres.
Facilities include digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, lasers and well-equipped surgical theatres. The team includes certificate holders in orthopaedics, ophthalmology and medicine, alongside several highly experienced vets.
