Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

This is a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position with an independent practice in South Manchester, working across two branches that are just 3.5 miles apart. The role comes with a salary of up to £40,000 FTE depending on experience, and gives you the chance to take real ownership of your nursing work.

You’ll run your own nurse clinics every day, work alongside vets and fellow nurses across both branches, and be part of a team that values supportive, high-quality care for clients and their pets. The practice also offers an optional 3-hour Saturday morning shift for nurses who want it, with that time paid as overtime or taken back as paid time off in lieu.

Key Responsibilities

• Run your own daily nurse clinics and consultations.
• Work alongside vets and fellow nurses across the practice’s two branches.
• Build relationships with clients and support their pets through nurse-led appointments.
• Provide support to the vet during the optional Saturday morning shift, if taken.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Ideally at least 2 years’ experience, although less experience may be considered for the right candidate.
• Confidence to run nurse consultations independently.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and their pets.
• A team-focused approach and willingness to keep developing professionally.
