About the Role

This part-time position offers you the chance to work within Rowe Vets' Bradley Stoke hospital, a busy 24-hour veterinary facility serving both first opinion and referral cases across the Bristol area. You'll join a skilled multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, supportive clinical environment where variety is guaranteed. The role spans surgical, medical, inpatient, emergency, and critical care nursing, giving you broad exposure and the opportunity to develop advanced nursing skills.

Working 24 hours per week across 3 days on a rota basis with 1:6 weekend cover, this schedule offers flexibility while keeping you clinically engaged. Whether you're drawn to emergency work, surgical support, or critical care, you'll find meaningful cases and experienced colleagues to learn from.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care across the hospital's varied caseload
• Support surgical and medical cases, including anaesthesia monitoring and inpatient care
• Provide emergency and critical care nursing, collaborating with multiple departments
• Work alongside veterinary surgeons and clinical support colleagues to maintain clinical standards and patient flow
• Contribute to ongoing development of patient care within the practice

Requirements

• RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse
• Clinical experience with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Good organisational skills and effective workload management
• Proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
