Ready to make a real difference to animals' lives? Join the Birmingham Animal Centre team and help rehabilitate rescued animals in a rewarding, supportive environment with genuine team values.
This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, working 35 hours per week on a 4-week rolling rota that includes 2 weekends out of every 4. You'll be part of the dedicated team at Birmingham Animal Centre, a state-of-the-art facility set across 72 acres of countryside with capacity for 160 cats, 60 dogs, and a dedicated unit for rabbits and small animals.
Your day-to-day work involves hands-on animal care: cleaning accommodation, feeding and watering, and managing daily exercise routines. It's physically demanding but deeply rewarding work that directly improves the welfare of animals recovering from abuse, neglect, and cruelty. The centre's team works methodically to rebuild trust with animals, and you'll be integral to that process.
