As a Veterinary Care Assistant at the RSPCA Greater Manchester Animal Hospital, you'll play a practical part in helping rescued animals recover, rebuild trust and move towards new homes. This is a 12 month fixed term maternity cover role, based on site, with 35 hours per week on a rotating shift basis.
The rota includes typical shifts of 8am to 4pm, 2pm to 10pm and overnight 10pm to 8am. The current 8 week rolling rota includes 7 nights on and 7 days off, 2 weekends, and 5 evening shifts Monday to Friday.
The role is with the RSPCA Greater Manchester Animal Hospital, part of the RSPCA. The organisation works for the benefit of animals, including pets, farmed animals, wildlife and animals used in science, and this site supports rescued animals through care and recovery.
