Ready to make a real difference to animal welfare? Join the RSPCA's East Winch Wildlife Centre as a Veterinary Surgeon and work with a team dedicated to rehabilitating injured and neglected animals across shelter medicine, surgery, and welfare support.
This part-time veterinary position offers 24 hours per week across a flexible schedule. Most weeks you'll work three or four days, typically 10:30am to 6:30pm, though early or late shifts may occasionally be required depending on centre needs. You'll be based at the RSPCA's East Winch Wildlife Centre in Norfolk, where no two days are the same and your work directly impacts animal welfare.
You'll take a leading role in the medical and surgical care of injured, ill, and neglected animals, overseeing their rehabilitation through to rehoming. This is a mixed-species role with significant responsibility and autonomy, and you'll have the opportunity to develop expertise across several veterinary disciplines while supporting both the centre team and the wider RSPCA Inspectorate.
