About the Role
This full-time position is based at Scarsdale Vets' modern Stapenhill practice, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am–7:00pm across 41.5 hours per week. You'll be at the heart of daily practice operations, supporting both the clinical team and patient care in a facility equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, two operating theatres, and three consulting rooms.
Your responsibilities will span clinical support—from patient preparation and recovery through to maintaining surgical standards and ensuring the practice environment meets the highest levels of cleanliness. It's a role that demands organisation and proactivity in a busy setting, but one where you're part of a long-established, bonded team that genuinely enjoys working together. The nursing team currently spans 9 RVNs across two sites, so you'll have experienced colleagues to learn from every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinical environment
- Process and prepare surgical kits for theatre use
- Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery
- Support the veterinary and nursing team with day-to-day clinical tasks
- Manage your own workload effectively, prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to the practice's reputation for exceptional animal care and client service
