Special Friends Animal Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their small, friendly 100% small-animal practice in Redditch. This is a permanent role working 4 days per week plus one Saturday per month (9 am to 2 pm) with genuinely no out-of-hours or bank holiday cover required. You'll be part of a close-knit team of 4 FTE vets, 6 RVNs, 4 receptionists, and a practice manager in an environment built on psychological safety and clinical freedom.
The practice has been serving the West Midlands and South Birmingham since 2000, recently joining VetPartners in 2025. Despite steady growth, they maintain a personal touch, aiming to know every pet individually and ensure clients see the same vet where possible. You'll work collaboratively across all areas of the practice in a truly cohesive and positive environment.
