Join a well-established small animal practice in Scone with a four-day working week, part-time options and a varied caseload that includes consulting, medical work-ups, operating and emergency care.
Out-of-hours work would be beneficial but is not essential. Time off in lieu is offered.
Thrums Vets is looking for a compassionate Small Animal Vet to join its team in Scone, with full-time and part-time options available. The role offers a varied caseload across consulting, medical work-ups, operating and emergency care, with a strong emphasis on finding the right balance of work for each vet.
You will be based at a modern, spacious and fully equipped surgery that opened in 2020. Special interests within small animal medicine are encouraged and supported, and you'll be joining an experienced team in a collaborative, welcoming environment.
The standard working week is four days, 8.30am to 5pm, with one late finish at 6.30pm and one in three Saturday mornings from 9am to 12.30pm. The practice can also be flexible to accommodate a reduced working week, and out-of-hours work with time off in lieu would be beneficial but is not essential.
Thrums Vets is a well-established, progressive practice in Angus and eastern Perthshire, and it has been independently owned for over 75 years. The practice says it is committed to exceptional care for pets and their owners, alongside a workplace culture that supports clinical excellence, enjoyment at work and care for colleagues.
As part of XL Vets, the practice also has access to shared knowledge, networking, informal support and clinical and non-clinical CPD.
