Take a leading role in an established York practice, with a focus on clinical direction, team development and shaping the next chapter at Tower Vets. The role offers flexibility on hours, a smaller clinical commitment at the outset, and support from a wider leadership network.
Out-of-hours care is provided by York Emergency Vets.
This Clinical Director opportunity sits at the heart of a long-established small animal practice in York. Tower Vets is looking for someone thoughtful, approachable and confident in leadership, with the ability to bring colleagues with them as the practice develops.
The role has a strong emphasis on leadership, strategy and practice development, with a smaller clinical commitment planned for the first couple of years so you have the time and space to focus on the wider picture. You will be based mainly at the Fulford site, within walking distance of York city centre, and will have overall responsibility for the practice across Fulford, Haxby and Acomb.
The practice has a warm, family feel and a culture built around supporting one another. Its clinical work is first-opinion general practice, with visiting support for orthopaedics and ultrasound, and there is scope to develop nurse clinics and support colleagues as they build their own interests and skills.
Tower Veterinary Group has been caring for animals in York since the 1950s. It is a small animal general practice with three sites, and the role carries responsibility across the main Fulford site plus the Haxby and Acomb branches.
The team is described as welcoming, supportive and family-focused, with a strong sense of looking out for one another. Tower Veterinary Group is part of VetPartners, and its work is supported by the wider business and central teams.
