This is an opportunity for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive five-vet team based on the Surrey/Sussex border. The practice places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, and it is looking for someone who wants to grow clinically while still maintaining a life outside work.
The rota includes a 45-hour working week, 1 in 8 weekends, and one weeknight on call every other week. The role is open to applicants at a range of career stages, from those earlier in their careers through to experienced equine clinicians.
Based near Horsham, the location offers countryside, coast and city access, with excellent riding on the doorstep and easy reach of Brighton, Guildford, central London and Gatwick Airport.
Mayes Scrine Equine Veterinary Practice is a modern ambulatory equine practice with excellent clinic facilities, including a theatre for further investigation and work-ups. The team has strong relationships with visiting surgeons and referral hospitals, and regularly undertakes standing surgeries and general anaesthesia cases.
