One Saturday morning per month (9:00am to 3:00pm). No overnight on-call or night shift responsibilities. Emergency patients referred to Westway Veterinary Hospital outside opening hours.
This is a full-time position based across two modern, well-equipped branches in South Shields and Boldon on a rotational basis. You'll work 40 hours per week over four days, with shifts between 8:30am and 7:30pm. The best part: no out-of-hours responsibilities beyond one Saturday morning per month (9:00am to 3:00pm). Part-time applications are also considered for the right candidate.
You'll be joining a collaborative team of four vets and six RVNs who genuinely enjoy working together and support one another every day. The practice recently refurbished its Boldon branch, creating a modern environment where you can deliver outstanding patient care using digital radiography, ultrasonography, dental radiography, laparoscopic surgery, and in-house laboratory facilities. Emergency patients outside opening hours are referred to Westway Veterinary Hospital in Newcastle, keeping the focus on your wellbeing.
