This fixed-term maternity cover opportunity is for a full-time Small Animal Vet at Galedin Vets in Berwick. The practice is set in North Northumberland, close to the coast and the Scottish Borders, with the added bonus of being within an hour’s drive of Edinburgh and Newcastle, and you can even see the sea from the practice.
You’ll be joining a friendly, social team that enjoys spending time together outside work as well as in it. The small animal work is varied, with surgery and consults supported by access to endoscopes, dental x-ray, quality ultrasound and EPOC bloods, plus a wider team for support and case discussion.
The role is based at Galedin Vets, Berwick, part of the wider Galedin team across the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland. The branch is part of the VetPartners Group family.
The practice offers small animal work with access to endoscopes, dental x-ray, ultrasound and EPOC bloods, alongside an experienced team including two internal medicine certificate holders and nurses with certificates in anaesthesia, exotics and ECC. The branch has also achieved the Silver Rabbit Friendly Practice Award.
