Vets for Pets Telford is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to step into a Head RVN position within a friendly, supportive team. The role is based in a recently extended practice that now includes a dedicated nurse consulting room, with a varied caseload and regular opportunities to use your clinical skills.
This is a busy practice, so nurses spend most days on prep and theatre shifts, plus a set consulting day each week to help build case continuity through nurse clinics. The rota is full time at 40 hours per week, with some shift pattern flexibility available, 1 in 4 Saturdays from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and no Sundays or out of hours duties.
The role is based at Vets for Pets Telford in Wrekin Retail Park, with free on site parking and access to nearby shopping and dining. The location also offers access to the Shropshire countryside, plus larger towns including Shrewsbury and Birmingham.
The practice is fully equipped and recently extended, and the team includes 4 vets, 4 experienced RVNs, an SVN on placement at times, a full time VCA, an experienced practice manager and a reception team. Two of the vets hold surgical certificates, and one RVN is beginning an ECC certificate.
