The new practice will be located in Newhaven, a vibrant coastal town in East Sussex, perfectly positioned within easy reach of Brighton, Eastbourne and Lewes. The practice will occupy a purpose-built mezzanine space within an existing Pet Care Centre, which serves as a natural first point of contact for new pet owners and a steady source of potential clients. This is a full-time, permanent position with the scope to build a thriving business from its foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical leadership and decision-making for all aspects of veterinary care
• Day-to-day management and operational control of the practice
• Building and leading your veterinary and support team
• Establishing protocols, clinical standards, and medication policies aligned with your professional vision
• Developing client relationships and building the practice's reputation within the local community
• Managing business finances and profitability alongside clinical delivery
• Growing and nurturing your client base from launch

Requirements

• Registered veterinary surgeon (RCVS registered, MRCVS or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a qualified veterinary professional
• Business acumen or willingness to learn business management with support
• Ambition and entrepreneurial drive to own and lead a practice
• Commitment to providing high-quality clinical care

About the Practice

Vets for Pets operates a unique practice ownership model designed to enable ambitious veterinary professionals to realise their business dreams with expert guidance and financial support. This is a brand-new venture launching in Newhaven, scheduled to be operational within 6 to 12 months. The practice will be built to your specifications within an existing Pet Care Centre, positioning you to tap into an established client stream whilst establishing your own reputation in the local community.
