This Registered Veterinary Nurse role is based at Basildon Pipps Hill Vets for Pets, a small animal practice in Basildon on the Pipps Hill Retail Park. The caseload is varied, with the opportunity to see furry exotics as well as general nursing cases.
You’ll be joining a hard-working and inclusive team of 4 vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 2 VCAs. Two of the vets hold certificates, one in surgery and one in internal medicine, and there is also a strong non-clinical team supporting the client journey so that nurses can focus on their clinical work.
The role is full-time, working 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 weekends and a day off in lieu after the weekend. Shift patterns run between 9am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday, and bank holiday cover is required on a pro rata basis from 9am to 5.15pm.
