Ready to lead a growing nursing team in a newly owned practice with exciting plans? Join Farnham Vets for Pets and help shape the future while enjoying genuine work-life balance with no overnight inpatient checks.
1 in 4 weekends; no out-of-hours or overnight inpatient checks
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an ambitious RVN at a small animal practice that has recently changed hands and is expanding its clinical services. You'll work full-time (40 hours per week) with a manageable 1 in 4 weekend rota, with the option to discuss part-time arrangements. The practice is introducing new surgical and rehabilitation services, and your role will be central to making that happen.
You'll lead by example alongside the Head Nurse, supporting the nursing and VCA team while driving improvements in clinical standards and day-to-day efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a friendly, close-knit, forward-thinking environment where both patients and people matter equally.
Farnham Vets for Pets is a small animal practice that has recently been taken over by two experienced veterinary surgeons with a shared passion for clinical excellence and team development. Kirsty, qualified for 15 years with a surgical certificate and special interests in regenerative medicine and chronic pain management, brings hospital practice experience. James, with 14 years' experience in physiotherapy and arthritis management, is leading the introduction of gold-standard rehabilitation services alongside business development. Together they are creating a progressive, supportive workplace culture.
The practice values people as much as patients and actively encourages diversity, welcoming applications from candidates who bring unique perspectives and contributions to the team.
