This is a multi-site veterinary receptionist role across Abingdon, Oxford and Didcot, with full flexibility needed to work between all three practices. It combines client care, admin and day-to-day practice support in a full-time 40-hour week with 1 in 4 weekends.
You will be joining a receptionist role that is contractually based at one site, but you'll work across Abingdon Vets for Pets, Oxford Vets for Pets and Didcot Vet for Pets. Because duties are shared between the sites, complete flexibility to travel between all locations is essential, and having a valid driving licence with your own transport would be advantageous.
The role is built around excellent client service, smooth front-of-house support and strong teamworking. You'll be handling a busy mix of reception, bookings, payments and day-to-day practice administration while acting as a key link between clients and the clinical team.
This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends. Part-time hours will also be considered, and shift patterns can be discussed to help support work-life balance.
This role sits within Vets for Pets and covers three practices: Abingdon Vets for Pets, Oxford Vets for Pets and Didcot Vet for Pets. The vacancy is advertised with a view location and practice link for Abingdon, with work carried out across all three sites.
The advert also highlights a commitment to diversity, inclusion and removing barriers so people from all backgrounds can contribute and develop within the business.
