This small animal practice in Burgess Hill is looking for an experienced, personable Veterinary Surgeon to join a team that is continuing to grow. A consulting only clinician would certainly be considered, and the practice is also happy to discuss part-time options for the right person.
You’ll be working in a busy, supportive environment with a caseload that allows you to see cases through properly and keep building your clinical confidence. The rota includes typical shifts of 8am to 6pm, 9am to 7pm, or 10am to 8pm, with only one late shift each week and one weekend a month, and there are no OOH responsibilities.
The role is based at Vets for Pets in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, at RH15 9UG. The practice is purpose-built and recently renovated, with digital X-ray, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory facilities, and separate wards for dogs, cats and isolation cases.
The team includes 8 experienced vets, 1 long-term locum, 2 new graduate vets, 9 qualified RVNs, 3 trainee nurses, 3 experienced IVCs and a front-of-house team. Many team members hold certificates, and the practice supports professional development and encourages individual areas of interest.
