About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a growing, locally owned small animal practice at a particularly interesting time, following a recent rebrand and the arrival of Sammy as partner alongside Tizzy. The practice is looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon who can help support its continued growth while delivering excellent care to the local community and their pets.

The role can suit full time or part time working, and part time may even be considered around school hours. Saturdays are on a 1 in 4 basis, and the practice is open to speaking with local talent at different stages of their career, with a clear interest in someone ready to mentor and lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care for the practice's small animal caseload.
• Support a growing practice as it continues to develop its client base.
• Work closely with the experienced clinical team and support colleagues.
• Use smart appointment scheduling and in-house laboratory support to help deliver patient care.
• Contribute to a practice that values community involvement and team support.

Requirements

• Experienced veterinary surgeon.
• Interest in mentoring and leading a team is welcomed.
• Ability to work full time or part time, with flexibility available.
• Availability for 1 in 4 Saturdays.

About the Practice

This is a small, friendly, locally run practice led by Tizzy and Sammy. The team includes 3 experienced vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA and support colleagues, and the practice describes itself as well established and long standing.

The surgery is purpose built and includes high quality facilities and equipment, plus an in-house laboratory. It is located on Clwyd Retail Park in Rhyl, with local amenities nearby and good transport links to West Wales, Liverpool and Chester.
