🕐 Schedule & Rota

Minimum 1:4 Saturday (12:00–19:30) and Sunday (08:30–19:30) rota, plus share of bank holidays. Out-of-hours emergency and critical care facility.

About the Role

This is a weekend-focused emergency and critical care position at Vets Now’s dedicated OOH facility in Barton-le-Clay. You’ll be working Saturday afternoons (12:00–19:30) and Sunday full days (08:30–19:30) on a minimum 1:4 rota, plus a share of bank holiday shifts. Barton-le-Clay sits in the East of England, serving the local community with out-of-hours small animal emergency and critical care. You’ll work alongside a highly skilled emergency team, supported by dedicated central teams handling complaints and customer service, so you can focus entirely on the cases in front of you.

Vets Now invests heavily in clinician development. You’ll have access to mentoring from experienced ECC clinicians, structured training pathways, and their AdvantEdge programme—all designed to help you build your career journey in emergency medicine at your own pace.
