Business Relationship Manager

About the Role

This Business Relationship Manager role sits within the senior leadership team at Vets Now Manchester and focuses on growing relationships with referring and partner practices, while helping to shape the experience clients receive when they visit the hospital.

You’ll also support and manage the administrators and receptionists, handle customer or partner practice complaints and queries through to resolution, and bring commercial thinking, relationship-building skills and an understanding of marketing and social media to the role.

The working pattern is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 8 hour shifts between 08:00 and 18:00. There is also a requirement to join the weekend on-call rota, usually 1:4 weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with referring and partner practices.
• Help identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Support and manage the administrators and receptionists.
• Work through customer and partner practice complaints and queries to a satisfactory resolution.
• Contribute commercial awareness, relationship-building and marketing and social media understanding to the role.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service and or business to business environment is essential.
• Previous line management experience is essential.
• Clinical experience is preferred.
• Understanding of marketing and social media would be beneficial.
• You should be able to build working relationships quickly with a wide range of stakeholders.
• You should be passionate about client and customer care and delivering exceptional service levels.
