This is a rare opportunity to join Vets Now Specialist Referrals and Out of Hours in Manchester as a Diplomate (ECVECC, ACVECC) or Residency-trained Emergency & Critical Care Clinician on a permanent basis. You'll work within a specialist-led, multi-disciplinary referral hospital and first-opinion OOH emergency provider just north of Manchester city centre—part of IVC Evidensia, Europe's leading veterinary care group.
The role offers a 4-day week plus 1-in-4 weekends (alternative patterns negotiable) that averages 40 hours per week. The referral ECC team is not routinely on-call; instead, you'll support the hospital on an as-needed basis, particularly for patients requiring mechanical ventilation. You'll collaborate with 3 ECC seniors and 2 ECC-specific interns, alongside additional emergency staff supporting the hospital throughout the week, weekends, and nights.
