ECC Veterinary Surgeon – Weekend

About the Role

Vets Now Tunbridge Wells is a thriving emergency clinic seeking a veterinary surgeon for weekend shifts. Whether you're taking a second job, consolidating ECC experience, or looking to transition into emergency work, this role offers genuine flexibility and a varied caseload. You'll work within a passionate team committed to excellence in out-of-hours care.

Choose your schedule: either a 2:4 night rota (Saturday 19:00–09:00 and Sunday 19:00–09:00) or a 2:4 day rota (Saturday 12:00–19:30 and Sunday 08:30–19:30), with bank holiday cover shared fairly. The clinic is willing to discuss how many shifts suit your lifestyle and will consider mixed day/night combinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care across the varied caseload seen at Vets Now Tunbridge Wells
• Work independently within the out-of-hours environment while supported by a skilled team
• Contribute to case-based learning and clinical development within an ECC setting
• Share bank holiday rotas fairly with colleagues

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon (MRCVS)
• ECC experience or demonstrable interest in emergency medicine
• At least six months' clinical foundation (graduates must have this before applying)
