About the Role

This weekend-only position offers the flexibility to develop your emergency and critical care experience whilst maintaining work-life balance. You'll work a 1 in 4 weekend rota, covering Saturdays from 12:00 to 18:30 and Sundays from 08:30 to 18:30, plus your fair share of bank holidays. Vets Now is the UK's leading provider of out-of-hours emergency pet care, operating 60 plus dedicated clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals serving over 1,700 veterinary practices. You'll be part of a highly skilled emergency team in Coventry, delivering critical care when pet owners need it most.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid advice over the phone and deliver in-clinic care
• Manage critical care including monitoring of major body systems, in-patient trends, physiotherapy, pain assessment, and wound care
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures with confidence in a sole charge capacity
• Contribute to triage, surgical support, and anaesthesia monitoring
• Maintain high clinical standards and support the wider nursing and clinical team

Requirements

• RCVS registered for a minimum of six months
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards
• Passionate about caring for clients and their pets
• Experience with ECC caseload is advantageous
