About the Role

Join Vets Now's emergency nursing team on a flexible weekend basis. This role offers the chance to deepen your emergency and critical care knowledge while earning a second income or managing personal commitments. You'll work every other weekend: Saturday 12:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 09:00 to 21:00, plus a fair share of bank holidays.

As a nursing team member at one of the UK's leading emergency pet care providers, you'll be central to clinical treatment across triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Vets Now operates 60 plus out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals, giving you access to a diverse and complex caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid advice over the phone and perform in-clinic assessments
• Manage critical care, including monitoring of major body systems, in-patient trends, physiotherapy, pain assessment, and wound care
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures, working with confidence in a sole charge capacity

Requirements

• RCVS registered for a minimum of six months
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards
• Passionate about client and patient care
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous
