About the Role

Wallace Vets is offering an RVN role built around clinical trust, variety and work-life balance. You’ll rotate across three branches in Broughty Ferry, Carnoustie and Arbroath, with no fixed pattern, so each week can look different depending on the needs of the practice and your preferences.

The role includes hands-on nursing across inpatient care, diagnostics, radiography, dental procedures, client education and clinical decision-making. The practice also encourages Schedule 3 work, including minor surgery, and supports nurses who want to develop interests such as consulting, ECC, surgical nursing, behaviour or nutrition.

This is a family-run independent practice with a long history in Dundee and Angus, and the team places real emphasis on flexibility, support and a collaborative culture. You’ll be joining a group that values nurse development, with four Head Nurses across the business and a clinical manager focused on people and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day nursing support across three branches in Broughty Ferry, Carnoustie and Arbroath.
• Carry out inpatient care, diagnostics, radiography, dental procedures, client education and clinical decision-making.
• Use Schedule 3 opportunities, including minor surgery, where appropriate.
• Rotate across sites as part of a varied branch-based workload.
• Contribute to clinics and further development if you have an interest in consulting, ECC, surgical nursing, behaviour or nutrition.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse status, or soon to qualify.
• The role is open to experienced RVNs, newly qualified nurses and candidates who have finished NPL and are waiting on OSCEs.
• A proactive approach and an interest in patient care.

• Salary up to £37,125 pro-rata, depending on experience and whether you work 3, 4 or 5 days a week.

Wallace Veterinary Centres is an independent practice caring for pets across Dundee and Angus. The business has grown from a single site to three branches, and the advert states it has been caring for pets for over 20 years.
