Wheelhouse Veterinary Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team on a full-time basis. The role sits within a first opinion small animal practice, and the nursing team is described as ambitious, proactive and trusted to make the most of their knowledge and skills.
You will have the chance to work across theatre, wards and nurse clinics, while contributing to high-quality nursing care and a positive client experience. The practice is also in a picturesque part of the Chilterns, with countryside surroundings and an easy commute to London.
The daily routine includes a morning ward round of around 15 minutes, led by the Head Nurse, Deputy Nurse or Head Vet. The team reviews patient plans, procedures, timings, medication needs and the rota, giving the day a clear structure from the start.
Wheelhouse Veterinary Centre is a first opinion small animal practice in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. The practice is owned by IVC Evidensia and is led by Clinical Directors Kevin Spencelayh and Laura Baydoun.
The wider team includes 3 SVNs, 13 RVNs, a physio nurse, a veterinary physiotherapist and a leadership structure made up of a Head Nurse with a Deputy Head Nurse at each site. The practice also has endoscopy, laparoscopic bitch spays, ultrasound, DR and CR radiography, Class 4 lasers, 4 consult rooms and an in-house lab.
