Lead a thriving Glasgow veterinary hub with clinical autonomy and genuine team support. Ready to shape the future of three connected practices while maintaining work-life balance?

About the Role

You’ll take the helm as Head Veterinary Surgeon across the Glasgow Hub—comprising AlbaVet, 3 Mile Veterinary Centre, and FirstVets Glasgow. This is a full-time leadership position (40 hours per week) where you’ll drive clinical excellence, mentor your veterinary team, and collaborate closely with the Practice Director and Nurse Manager to deliver outstanding patient care. • Perform advanced clinical and surgical procedures, including emergency cases and complex diagnostics
  • Champion innovation and forward-thinking medical and surgical techniques to enhance patient outcomes
  • Build strong client relationships through gold-standard care and compassionate communication

  • Proactive problem-solver with a positive, resilient approach to challenges
  • Collaborative team player who brings energy and professionalism
  • Visionary leader ready to shape the future direction of the practices
  • Passion for coaching and maintaining the highest standards of patient and client care

Benefits

  • Competitive salary up to £70,000 depending on experience
  • Dedicated CPD support and access to in-house learning and development courses developed by CVS’s team of veterinary surgeons and nurses
  • Wellbeing initiatives including access to over 280 wellbeing champions across the group and an Employee Assistance Programme
