Abbey Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join their friendly and forward-thinking team in Arbroath. This is a full-time permanent position with flexible hours (40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days) and a shared Saturday morning rota only. There is no out-of-hours commitment, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering excellent patient care.
You'll work with a varied and rewarding first opinion caseload including routine consultations, diagnostics, and both medical and surgical treatment. Cases span routine procedures through to more complex work such as pyometras, lump removals, gastrointestinal foreign bodies, and dentistry. The practice collaborates closely with Cats Protection, running a dedicated cat clinic that adds further clinical variety. You'll benefit from modern facilities including digital radiography, IDEXX in-house laboratory, iM3 dental equipment, and recently installed dental X-ray capabilities in Arbroath.
