Enjoy 20 minute consults, no OOH and a rota designed to finish on time most days. This Aldeburgh role offers a varied first opinion caseload on the Suffolk coast, with support for developing your clinical interests.
No OOH. Saturday mornings 8.30 am to 12 noon, currently 1 in 4 and moving to 1 in 5 when the new vet joins.
This is a first opinion small animal vet role at an independently owned companion animal practice in Aldeburgh. The caseload is mainly dogs and cats, with occasional rabbits and very few exotics, and your work will include consultations, medicine, dentistry and surgery.
The practice has put a lot of thought into the working day, with 20 minute consultations, manageable consulting sessions and a team that works together to keep things running smoothly. The current opening is for an experienced vet with at least a couple of years of postgraduate experience, someone comfortable with everyday GP work and routine procedures.
You will be joining a seaside practice where many clients value continuity, clear communication and careful case discussion. If you enjoy building long term client relationships and contributing to a calm, organised day, this could suit you well.
