Join a progressive small animal practice where RVNs play a central role in clinical care, with a dedicated cat clinic and a rota built around 40 hours across 4 days.
This Registered Veterinary Nurse role is based at Animates Veterinary Clinic, where RVNs are a central part of delivering high-quality clinical care. The practice is described as progressive and places real emphasis on helping nurses use their skills fully, with ownership of patient care, client communication and service development.
You will be working full-time, 40 hours per week across 4 days from Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturday shifts in addition to your weekly hours. The practice also has a dedicated cat clinic, creating a calm, low-stress environment for feline patients.
Animates Veterinary Clinic was established in 2005 and cares for cats, dogs and exotic pets. The practice has modern, fully equipped facilities including in-house blood analysis, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, cardiology equipment, therapeutic laser and acupuncture, plus excellent theatre facilities at both Thurlby and Market Deeping.
The site also has separate dog, cat and exotic wards. Staff provide an out of hours emergency service based at the Thurlby practice, and the exotics clinic there is run by Sarah Pellett BSc(Hons) MA VetMB Cert AVP(ZooMed) MRCVS, who sees a wide range of exotic animals including small mammals, reptiles, rabbits and birds.
