About the Role

If you have ever wanted to run your own practice but were unsure where to start, this opportunity is designed to help make that move possible. As Practice Owner, you will have the autonomy to shape the clinical journey, client relationships and team culture, with support available throughout the process.

The ownership model is built around flexibility and support. You will take a salary from day one, keep 100% of future profits, and once loans are repaid, benefit from twice-yearly dividends as well as the longer-term value of the practice. The role is based in Ashby de la Zouch, a charming market town in Leicestershire, within easy reach of Leicester, Birmingham and Nottingham.

The new practice will be created within an existing Pet Care Centre, with plans for three consult rooms, a prep area and theatre, X-ray, pharmacy, laboratory, separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas, an isolation ward, office, and a fully branded reception area. The practice could be up and running in around nine months.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead your own practice with clinical and operational autonomy.
• Shape clinical direction, client relationships and team culture.
• Work with the support teams provided to help establish and grow the practice.
• Help recruit, manage finances and payroll, and make use of IT, marketing and HR support.
• Build the business, client base and local reputation from a new practice set up.

Requirements

• You need to be an experienced vet.
• You will need to be able to commit investment for sole ownership or share the investment with a co-owner or co-owners.
• You should be ready to take on the responsibilities of practice ownership.
