Ready to step into leadership at a thriving exotic referral practice? Join Ashleigh Vets as Deputy Head Nurse and mentor a talented team while maintaining genuine work-life balance—4-day weeks, long weekends 1 in 5, and a practice that actually values your wellbeing.

1 in 5 Saturday mornings (8am-12pm) and Sunday mornings (9am-11am). Dedicated out-of-hours team handles night shifts and overnight on-call; this role does not include night duties. 2 bank holidays per year (mornings only).

About the Role

This is a rare leadership opportunity for an experienced RVN to join Ashleigh Vets’ dynamic small animal and exotic team across two Manchester locations. This is a chance to lead by example in a practice renowned for exceptional exotic referral work—the largest in the Northwest—whilst building a career in a friendly, established environment.

Based across Chorlton (small animal, avian and exotic referrals) and Sale (cat-only clinic), you’ll work within an 11-strong vet team including exotic diploma and certificate holders, alongside 9 RVNs, many with exotic nursing credentials.
