About the Role
A part-time position has opened at Ashworth Veterinary Group's Fleet branch, offering a rare opportunity to join a well-established small animal practice with genuinely strong work-life balance credentials. The practice sits in a location with good coastal and London connectivity, and boasts exceptionally low staff turnoverāa telling sign of a genuinely supportive culture.
You'll work three days per week (ideally Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) on a rotating schedule across theatre, hospital, and consults. The rota includes one Saturday shift every four weeks. This is a place where you'll be fully supported as an RVN, with genuine opportunities for personal development surrounded by a collaborative vet and reception team.
Key Responsibilities
Rotation through theatre, hospital, and consults work
3-day working week (28.5 hours) working 8.30am-7pm (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
One Saturday shift every four weeks (hours are on monthly rotation of 9-3pm, 9-1pm or 9-11am)
Collaboration with the veterinary and reception team in a small animal practice setting
Contributing to a supportive practice culture built on collaboration, respect, and professional development
Requirements
Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse
Ability to work with initiative and as part of a team
Commitment to professional development and continuing education

Salary: from £28,000 FTE, dependent on experience
