About the Role
You'll become an integral part of the clinical team at Bryn and Golborne Veterinary Centre, a busy two-site first opinion practice delivering a varied caseload in a genuinely supportive environment. This is hands-on nursing work where you'll be involved in theatre, anaesthesia, inpatient care, nurse-led clinics, and diagnostic support—all without the pressure of out-of-hours commitments. The role runs 36–40 hours per week, typically across a 4-day working week, with a 1-in-4 Saturday morning rota (9:00am–12:00pm) and no overnight on-call requirements. Based in Ashton-in-Makerfield, the practice benefits from excellent transport links and easy access to countryside—a real community hub with a team that values collaboration.
You'll work alongside Veterinary Surgeons, Student Nurses, Client Care Advisors, and a Practice Director who all share a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement. There's room to grow here: clear pathways exist into Senior Nurse, Referral, or leadership roles, as well as specialist posts like clinical supervisor, mentor, or certificate holder positions.
