🕐 Schedule & Rota

1:4 weekend rota. Minimal night shift cover as dedicated night RVNs are in place. Bank holidays shared amongst team.

About the Role

You’ll join Chantry Vets’ established nursing team in a full-time rotational position, working across multiple branches and the main Brindley Way Veterinary Hospital. With a 1:4 weekend rota and minimal night shift cover (dedicated night RVNs handle most overnight work), this role offers genuine work-life balance alongside varied clinical nursing duties.

The role is based in West Yorkshire and promises a fast-paced, supportive environment where you’ll develop your skills and expand your knowledge. The practice actively encourages professional development and funds opportunities to gain additional qualifications and certificates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct nurse clinics and provide preventative healthcare advice
  • Manage inpatient care across multiple sites
  • Perform veterinary imaging and radiography
  • Provide surgical nursing support
  • Carry out laboratory work and diagnostic testing
  • Work within a team-based approach to patient care across Chantry Vets’ branches

Requirements

  • Current RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
  • Passion for providing high-standard patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Clinical coaching experience or additional qualifications (advantageous but not essential)
