This is an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive team at Bedford Interchange Vets for Pets. The rota is flexible, with both full time and part time hours considered, ideally across 3 to 4 days a week from 9am to 7pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.
You will be working in a practice that offers 15 minute consults as standard and sees a varied mix of cat, dog, rabbit and exotic medical and surgical cases. The role suits a vet who enjoys routine medicine and surgery, and who values building strong relationships with patients, clients and colleagues.
Bedford Interchange Vets for Pets is an RCVS accredited small animal practice and an accredited silver cat friendly and rabbit friendly clinic. Locally owned by Jo and Kevin Morrall since 2013, the practice offers complete clinical freedom and benefits from the wider support network of Vets for Pets.
The practice is purpose built, bright and air conditioned, with endoscopic surgical equipment, digital X ray, ultrasound and in house laboratory facilities. The team also works with a visiting ophthalmologist, a peripatetic orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue surgeon, and a visiting ultrasonographer, and has recently started offering laparoscopic spays.
