This is a three-year clinical training post in anaesthesia and analgesia at Bristol Vet Specialists in Bristol. The residency starts in July 2027 and the role closes on 6th November 2026.
You’ll be based in a large specialist-led, referral-only hospital with a broad referral caseload, including cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, and soft tissue surgery. The hospital also has MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, a radiotherapy unit with a linear accelerator, 5 theatres, and canine and feline ICUs.
You’ll join a team that includes six ECVAA diploma-holders, two anaesthesia residents and a large anaesthesia nursing team. The service also works with B&W Equine Hospital and Bristol Zoo to provide anaesthesia support and meet ECVAA requirements.
